What are Now & ThenTM Life Tapestries?
They are individualized works of art, beautifully designed along specific themes, containing unique ribbons that hold coordinated baby clothing, accessories and/or toys. As the accessories are used, memories of baby are created and associated with the items. The baby accessories are removed from the legacy quilt “Now” for use …and “Then” when outgrown, are reattached to the quilted furnishing, creating a precious keepsake record of baby's first year. Each tapestry has a rod 'sleeve' on the back that allows the tapestry to be hung in baby's (or any) room, becoming part of the nursery/home décor. Each tapestry is one-of-a-kind, handmade in the USA, entailing approximately 25 hours of loving labor.

How do Now & ThenTM Tapestries make decorating easy?
Each tapestry is specially designed along a theme that can be used to decorate a nursery, a family hallway, or a familyroom. Unlike most nursery décor, these tapestries grow with your child! If trains or moose seem too ‘toddler’ for your baby, just look at our tapestries that contain baby clothing and toys along these themes! As baby turns to toddler (faster than you think!), you can add toddler clothing and/or toys to the quilted furnishing. This life tapestry can grow as your child does!
What is a "Foundation" Tapestry?
The "Foundation" versions of our life tapestries are made by the same designers with the same level of quality and thought as our fully accessorized tapestries. The "Foundations" have fewer accessories than our more comprehensive tapestries. The "Foundations" serve two purposes:
1) they provide more room for your own treasured memory items or Holiday decorations (perhaps family heirlooms); and
2) they start you off in style so you can create your own life tapestry masterpiece for your baby or grandchild or Godchild.
What is the difference between Classic and Limited Edition tapestries?
Our classic tapestries are designed with updated, classic baby colors and themes. Time and attention are focused on finding rare fabrics and distinctive accessories. Limited Edition tapestries are designed around specialized themes, and feature exclusive, hard-to-find fabrics and seldom-found baby accessories. The fabrics and accessories in the Limited Editions are available to us (and thus to you) for a limited time, making these life tapestries true heirlooms. Plus, each Limited Edition is registered with a certificate of authenticity!
Are these Life Tapestries copyrighted and/or patented?
YES and YES! Each tapestry's design is copyrighted, and we have a patent pending for our unique concept of attaching memorabilia to tapestries, quilted furnishings and wall hangings.
